3D Printing
Prove the fit in plastic before you cut metal.
Functional prototypes, jigs and fitment mock-ups printed before anything is committed to steel.
Request a QuoteCutting a one-off part from solid and finding out it fouls a bracket is an expensive way to learn. We print the shape first, offer it up in the bay, and only then commit it to metal.
Printing also covers the things that never needed to be metal at all: trim clips, blanking plates, alignment jigs, protective caps for a block that is going to sit on the stand for a few weeks.
If a printed part turns out to be the right answer on its own, we will tell you that instead of selling you a machining job you do not need.
What the job includes
- Fitment mock-ups printed ahead of machining
- Functional prototypes for testing in the car
- Jigs, fixtures and alignment aids for build work
- Replacement trim and blanking parts
- Print-to-machining handover on the same job
What we need from you
- A CAD file ready for printing
- Where the part sits and what it has to clear
- Whether it is a test piece or the final item
